How is the MJIF different from other "Support Israel" funds?

The MJIF is a support organization that solely focuses on and assists Jewish believers in the Holy Land. It is believed by many that less than one tenth of 1% of worldwide missions go to support the persecuted and scorned Jewish believers of Yeshua (Jesus) in Israel. While there are many Christian and Jewish organizations soliciting funds in support of Israel, very little goes to Jewish believers in Yeshua (messianic Jews). The MJIF was founded to help the poor among the messianic community in Israel, and for those who want their gifts and support to go directly/exclusively to the Body of Jewish believers in Messiah.

How long has the MJIF been in operation?

The MJIF has been supporting Jewish believers in Israel for over two decades. For a brief history of the MJIF, see “MJIF Beginnings.”

How is information about MJIF Donors and Newsletter Recipients used?

We protect the privacy of all those who send donations or sign up for our newsletter and updates. This information is not used for any other purpose nor shared with any other organization.

How does the MJIF raise money for the poor among Jewish believers in Israel?

Prayer, Prayer, Prayer! As well, we garner support through the MJIF website, a quarterly "MJIF Report," (four page newsletter) a monthly email "MJIF update," and sharing in pro-Israel Churches and conferences. It also helps us when you support the MJIF by "word of mouth," so, tell a friend about the work of the  Messianic Jewish Israel Fund!

Why are Messianic Jews being persecuted in Israel?

It’s unfortunate, but leaders of traditional Judaism, i.e. Orthodox, Conservative, Reform and Reconstructionist are unanimous in their rejection of Messianic Judaism as a form of Judaism and view believers in Yeshua (Jesus) to be a threat – much like the Pharisees viewed Yeshua nearly 2,000 years ago. These leaders hold great influence within the Israeli government and the local economy, some have targeted Jewish believers with threats, intimidation, economic boycotts and more. Make no mistake, being a Jewish believer in the Holy Land can be a hardship that requires our support . . .

. . . Nevertheless, these are our kinsmen according to the flesh and we pray for them.

Consider Paul's writings in Romans 11

"For I do not want you, brothers and sisters, to be ignorant

of this mystery - least you be wise in your  own eyes -

that a partial hardnening has come upon Israel

until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in,

and in this way all Israel will be saved , as it is written,

"The Deliverer shall come out of Zion.

He shall turn  away ungodliness from Jacob (Israel).

And this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins."
