in Action!

MJIF is dedicated to helping Jewish believers in Israel get through temporary emergency situations.

Sometimes your check makes the difference between a family remaining in Israel, or having to leave due to financial hardships. Your check can make the difference in a pastor having materials and equipment to minister to the lost, or losing people because there is no one helping him to establish a much needed congregation.

Your check now, no matter the amount, will enable many to get the medical help they would not get otherwise... and your support of God's people in Israel today will supply food, clothing and school supplies to families, and it will let them know they are not alone.

– they need us now!

  Dear friend of the MJIF:

The Messianic Jewish Israel Fund (MJIF) is a vital organization working within the Messianic Jewish communities in America and in Israel, building bridges and partnering with each other to bring the Good News of Yeshua, the risen Messiah of all mankind, to the lost.

We serve as a source for strengthening ties between Jewish and Christian believers in the USA and Israel. . .  by assuring our Israeli mishpocha (family) that they are not alone.

Some have asked "what are the needs of the MJIF, and how do you raise funds?"

When we consider the wide array of requests the MJIF receives every week from Israel, then the need is great. The MJIF does not give clothing, or other tangible items (although those things are needful), instead we partner financially with the Jewish believers in Israel. We cannot be on the ground doing the work of the ministry, but we can raise the funds needed from here which allows them to bring the Gospel of Yeshua to those who have, not yet, come to faith.

How does the MJIF raise the funds needed to partner with the Messianic Jewish community in Israel? First of all, and most importantly, we spend a lot of time on our knees in prayer. We send out MJIF Newsletters and E-mails to Churches, Messianic congregations and to friends asking them to help us partner with the believers in Israel. We speak in Churches and other organizations that love Israel and the Jewish people, then we pray some more. God gives the increase and the MJIF sends funds to those in need throughout the year.

I personally go to Israel each year to meet with the leaders who help direct me to where the greatest needs are. . . and we give until the funds run out.

The MJIF may not be "politically correct" in asking for funds, but the wide array of folks in need makes it necessary to just lay it out before you and let you know that the many (different) needs in Israel has created great strain on the MJIF budget.

We ask you to join us in prayer and partition the Lord as to what He would have you do to help.

The MJIF continues to provide for the poor among our counterparts in the Land with the ongoing support from faithful  friends who know the importance of helping the less fortunate.

Example:

MJIF offers temporary funding to families in emergency situations; medical necessities for the young and old alike; and many serious dental needs; There are new struggling Messianic Congregations  and Fellowships that include Israeli, Russian and Ethiopian Jewish saints.

Programs and Day School for children are supported by the MJIF. We give to Elderly Homes where frail believers, once vital ministers of the Gospel, now reside.

As well, funds go to disabled facilities; recovery and pregnancy centers where drug and life abuses have taken their toil.

The Aliyah program helps in getting Jewish believers back to Israel, the only Jewish homeland in the world, and the whole of Israel is only the size of the State of New Jersey.

The MJIF is dedicated to aiding Jewish believers in Israel that are committed to sharing Yeshua (Jesus) with the lost. Will you be here for  the MJIF so we can be there for them?

Your pledge to the MJIF will make a difference in a life, and allow the MJIF to continue the ministry of loving and caring for God’s Jewish children in Israel.

Thank you for considering the Messianic Jewish Israel Fund (MJIF) in your giving!

In Messiah’s joy,

Dotti

Remember, your gifts are tax deductible and very much appreciated!

Beginnings...

TorahWhen God’s hand begins to stir the hearts of men and women, you can be sure that something is about to happen. In January of 1992, Jeff Lowenthal, Chairman of the Messianic Jewish Israel Fund, asked Dotti Solomon to take the voluntary position of Executive Director of the Messianic Jewish Israel Fund (MJIF).

The position would include organizing believers throughout the United States who have a heart for Israel and the Jewish people. Both Jewish and Christian Zionists were contacted, those who practice the Word of God and would commit to bless Jewish believers in Israel with prayer and financial support.

The goal of the MJIF was to strengthen the hands of our Israeli brothers and sisters who had been called to “be a light to the nations” [Acts 13:47-48], and minister the Good News of Yeshua (Jesus) to those who had not yet come to faith in the Messiah. In this way, those in the Diaspora (outside Israel) would be doing their part to promote revival among the Jewish people in Israel.

Accepting the position, Dotti knew in her heart that God was calling her to this vital ministry, and she strongly felt the need to begin “building a bridge” between those in the Diaspora and Jewish believers in Israel.

So began the work of the Messianic Jewish Israel Fund (MJIF), an autonomous humanitarian aid agency of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America, the oldest and largest Messianic Jewish organization in the world.

The MJIF immediately began making annual trips to Israel to see, first hand, the severity of existing conditions and find where the greatest needs lie. The MJIF constantly works with leaders in the Land who help direct them to the most urgent situations. A quarterly newsletter is sent out to keep supporters up to date on the “happenings” in Israel.

Since 1992 the MJIF has distributed vital emergency funding to needy Jewish believers and Messianic works in Israel. Funds received by the MJIF go directly and exclusively to Jewish believers in the Land. Operational costs are conscientiously kept at a minimum, and no salaries are taken by anyone working with the MJIF.

We believe in the spiritual principle of “sowing and reaping.” We also believe there is no more fertile soil in which to sow our seed than that of Israel. . . and the Jewish believers there who are bringing the 'Good News" of Messiah Yeshua to God's people.

Statement of Faith

We believe in One God as declared in the Shema (the Watchword of Israel)[Det. 6:4], Who is eternally existent in three persons, God the Father; God the Son and God the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). [Is. 48:16-17; Gen. 1:1; Ex. 3:6; Eph. 4:4-6].

We believe in the deity of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus)

[Is. 9:6; John 1:1,4]; His virgin birth [Is. 7:14]; His sinless life; His atoning death [Is. 53; Ps. 22]; His bodily resurrection, His ascension and His future return in power and glory, and "all Israel shall be saved."

We believe the Bible, consisting of the Tenach (Old Covenant Scriptures) and the Brit Hadosha (New Covenant Scriptures) to be the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God [Ps. 119:89; Pr. 30:5-6; 2 Tim. 3:16-17].

We believe in God’s eternal covenant made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Therefore, we stand with, and support, the Jewish people and the State of Israel and hold fast to the Biblical heritage of our spiritual forefathers.

We believe God has called the Jewish people to "be a light to the Gentiles" ( Acts 13:47), and our Christian friends are to "provoke the Jewish people to jealousy" with the Gospel.

(Romans 11:11).
